TLDR : After having bravely fought off a handful of Thargoid scouts and interceptors, the trip home turned out to be just a few light seconds too long.

They blow up easy enough those Thargoid scouts, and even the interceptors are not the biggest pain out there. But they do mess up a ship by leaving their acid like goo around, which from that moment on will slowly (but surely!) start eating its way through your hull. Left unchecked, this will really ruin your day.

This mighty Corvette’s first run would unfortunately also be its last.
